Marriage Ministry

The Bible states in Genesis 2:24 (KJV) “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”  We believe that Marriage is the pinnacle of human relationships and is a relationship that should be guarded and nurtured.  Therefore, NVF  strives to create an environment that with strengthen and build strong marriages.  This is done through ministry events, training and by developing people that honor the sanctity of marriage.  We believe that a church with strong marriages will bring forth people with strong marriages.  Below are some of the events that NVF fosters to create and enhance an environment in which strong marriages can be developed and nurtured.

ANNUAL MARRIAGE ADVANCES:

A Marriage Advance is a weekend of marriage enrichment, recreation, and fun.  At NVF, it is called an advance as opposed to a retreat because in marriage there is no room for moving backwards only forward.   NVF believes that it is important for couples to take time to revive, refresh, and/or rekindle the fire of marriage. Marriage is a powerful institution ordained by God. Unfortunately, there are so many demands on our time that we often neglect taking special time to celebrate marriage. So whether your marriage is in crisis or never been better, there's encouragement for you at NVF's marriage Advance. Please plan to join us for a time of reflection, inspiration and sheer fun. It'll be worth the investment!

When: Thursday, April 19th, 2012 through Saturday, April 21st, 2012.
Cost: $425 (Payment Plan available)

Cost includes:   
Advance material, Hotel Fee (free continental breakfast), and Friday evening Dinner Banquet. (Transportation is not included; Thursday Dinner and Friday lunch is on your own)

Location:
We will be meeting near Gulf Shores, one of the South's most exciting vacation spots, at the new Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel. The Hampton Inn & Suites is located in Orange Beach, Alabama and offers a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. There are a variety of activities to suit everyone. Furthermore, you will be refreshed and will enjoy great fellowship.
